Here are some pictures from our visit today to H.O.R.S.E of CT. This is an organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected horses. Some of the beautiful guys you see here are Moses (top left), Slick and his buddy (Top right), Lady (Middle left -- She has lost one eye and is going blind in the other. However, this does not stop her!), Quey (Middle right - with Freckles in the back -- Quey is a TB who when broke his back in the racing gate when he was younger but thank goodness, someone didn't put him down then! 19 Years later and we think he is perfect!) and the last picture is Blondie and Espree. All of the horses enjoyed the attention but we think they preferred all the treats (carrots and apples!) that we brought them even more! This organization runs completely with volunteers and founder Patty Wahlers should be thanked for helping so many horses who otherwise would have led horrible lives, if they even made it at all. All the horses here are beautiful and they all seem so happy! If you live near by or can make the trip, stop by because you will enjoy the horses :)
